Caves of Nerja
The Caves of Nerja are 158 metres above sea level and 4,823 metres deep. They were discovered in 1960. Known as the Natural Cathedral of the Costa del Sol, it is a true marvel of nature only 5 kilometres from town. You can reach them by car, taxi, or bus.

Balcony of Europe
This beautiful lookout point is in the heart of Nerja and offers views of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a wonderful place for taking panoramic photos with which to remember your trip. It was king Alfonso XII who gave the place its name after the 1884 earthquake. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll while enjoying an ice cream and watching the street musicians, painters, caricature artists, jugglers and even harpists and pianists. A must-see only 14 minutes’ walk away from Hotel Perla Marina!
Museum of Nerja
The Museum of Nerja is a centre of reference for information on the town, its history, and its natural and cultural heritage. Here you can learn more in depth about the history and surroundings of Nerja. It offers a long list of exhibitions throughout the year, including concerts, theatre plays, workshops, book presentations, etc. It is only a 12-minute walk away from Hotel Perla Marina. Plaza de España
Located right behind Nerja’s town hall and built upon the municipal car park. Here we can find the Museum of Nerja, an underground car park and many restaurants and coffee shops at a short walk’s distance. Throughout the year, it is the backdrop of several outdoor music festivals, as well as of local festivities such as the Carnival, Pedal Day and much more! It is the perfect place to take your kids to children’s attractions. And it is only a 12-minute walk away from Hotel Perla Marina.

Shopping district
Are you looking for shops in which to buy souvenirs? Clothes? Shoes? In Nerja you can find all this and more. Its main shopping streets are: C/ Castilla Pérez, C/ Diputación, C/ El Barrio, C/ Pintada and C/ Cristo. Make sure you leave some free space in your luggage to take home some souvenirs from Nerja!
Church of El Salvador
It is the main church of Nerja, located on the Balcony of Europe. It is a 12-minute walk away from Hotel Perla Marina. Check timetables aquí.
Verano Azul Park
Outdoor space where you will find the famous Chanquete boat, one of Nerja’s most important monuments, as it was used during the shooting of the popular Spanish TV show “Verano Azul”, directed by Antonio Mercero, in 1981. It is a 10-minute walk away from Hotel Perla Marina.
Eagle Bridge
This aqueduct, known as the Eagle Bridge, was built to carry water to the mills of the old San Joaquín Sugar Factory. Its renovation started in 2010 and was completed in 2012. It is 40 metres tall and consists of 4 tiers of arches. You can reach it on foot, by car or taking a bus that drops you off nearby.
