Around Nerja

Frigiliana

This quaint inland town is only 8 kilometres away from Nerja. It is famous for its beautiful Andalusian-style allies, sweet wines, and oils. You can go by bus (check schedules) or by car (15 minutes).

Maro

Between Nerja and Almuñecar, and close to the Caves, is this little town of about 700 inhabitants with stunning cliffs and unspoilt beaches, a truly paradisiacal destination. A walkway now connects the Caves and Maro. You can go by bus (check schedules) or by car (12 minutes).

Málaga

The streets of the old town invite you to stroll through boutiques, tapas bars and lively squares, where the aroma of spices and the murmur of people create a unique atmosphere. And along the promenade, miles of golden beaches bathed in the warm Mediterranean sun invite you to relax and enjoy the carefree and tranquil Malaga lifestyle. Situated 55km from Nerja, it can be reached by car or bus. Points of interest: Malaga Alcazaba, Malaga Cathedral, Picasso Museum, Old Town, Muelle Uno and Paseo Maritimo or by car (45 minutes)

Granada

Located in the heart of the picturesque region of Andalusia, the city of Granada is one of the cultural and architectural treasures of southern Spain. With a history dating back to ancient times, its cobbled streets whisper tales of Moorish kings and renowned poets who once revelled in its beauty. It is 95km from Nerja and can be reached by car or bus. Places of interest: The Alhambra and Generalife, El Albaicín, Granada Cathedral and Royal Chapel, San Nicolás viewpoint and Sacromonte.
